Future Trends of the High-Performing and Thriving Workplace in 2021

3 trends that will optimize organizational culture and productivity

5 min readDec 29, 2020

The disruption this pandemic has caused in our personal and professional lives has caused turmoil, but also that of great innovation. Our working landscape has changed for the foreseeable future, and it has made the future come much quicker than we anticipated. The adoption of new technologies, remote work, and communication tools have already taken hold, and if not yet, they will soon enough.

Microsoft Teams meetings may not replicate the social connectedness that an in-person discussion carries, but within the context of how each of us works, and what it takes for us to perform at our best, there is a lot to unpack.

The thriving workforce is not reserved for the organization that crosses the most items off of the list — at the expense of the team’s health. No, the thriving workforce is going to be a dynamic of understanding the common goal and purpose of the business, each persons learning and working preferences, and coexisting in greater harmony through better communication and the leveraging of powerful technology.

What the hell does that look like?
